PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – (May 26, 2015) – Kutztown Auto – the Buick, GMC and Cadillac dealer in Kutztown, Pa. – is the newest sponsor of both the GolfTalk Live radio show and the Traveling Golfer television show. Kutztown Auto joins Yuengling Brewery as the only sponsors of both award-winning shows.
Kutztown Auto, which has been steadily increasing its footprint in the Eastern Pennsylvania auto market in recent years, began running commercials on both shows in May. Also, Kutztown Auto owner Phil Cavalcante will serve as radio show contributor for topics that involve the business side of golf. He will be part of an upcoming GolfTalk Live series, “Business and Golf.”
“Both Cadillac and Buick have had a long history of involvement with the world of professional golf,” said Cavalcante. “Being involved in regional golf radio and television seemed to be a logical step for us.”
Tony Leodora, host of GolfTalk Live and the Traveling Golfer welcomed Kutztown into the network of sponsors for both shows. There is a strong inter-relationship with many of the sponsors and that creates a strong team effort.
“We welcomed Kutztown Auto with open arms,” said Leodora. “Hopefully they will find many new customers among our other sponsors, just as we hope the other sponsors make the Kutztown Auto team their new customers.”
Both GolfTalk Live and Traveling Golfer have won the prestigious International Network of Golf Media Awards, presented at the PGA Merchandise Show in January.
The Traveling Golfer, which debuted in February of 2013, appears as a series of monthly shows hosted by Leodora, who has 15 years of experience in televised golf shows. It airs on Comcast SportsNet and The Comcast Network throughout the North Jersey, Philadelphia, Mid-Atlantic and Pittsburgh markets. It also airs on a network of websites, as well as the Golf Director network. Old shows are archived for continued viewing on the home website, www.travelinggolfervideo.com.
GolfTalk Live, now it its 10th season, airs weekly on flagship station WNTP 990-AM in Philadelphia. It also airs on WOND 1400-AM in Atlantic City and on two ESPN stations in the Lehigh Valley, 1230 and 1320.
