Expanded offerings include partial loops, instruction with a
social twist, golf-focused fitness classes and “his and her” experiences
San Martin, Calif. (May 28, 2015) – Rosewood CordeValle today announced several new expanded golf programs and instructional clinics as a way to boost participation, grow the game among guests and incentivize a wider audience to tee it up. In today’s fast-paced and digitally connected world, the award-winning Northern California golf resort aims to offer programs that are both fun, time-sensitive, and challenging for beginners and pros alike. CordeValle’s new offerings include:
• 3-, 6-, and 9-Hole Loops – For golfers on tight schedules or for those who simply want a sample of the championship course, new 3-hole, 6-hole, and 9-hole loops are available. Includes club rentals and a sleeve of golf balls. Priced at $50, $100 and $150, respectively. 18-hole green fee is $325.
• Intro-to-Golf Social Hour – “Sips and Tips” is an hour-long instructional program to learn the fundamentals of the game from the resort’s golf pro. Participants enjoy signature cocktails while perfecting their swing on the range. After the session, guests can opt to hit the links or for a wine tasting at Clos LaChance, CordeValle’s on-property winery. Available Saturdays at noon; $25 per person; minimum of five participants.
• “His and Her” Experiences – CordeValle’s new couple’s golf program offers a 9-hole outing for the duo, and as he finishes the back nine, she indulges in a 90-minute treatment at Sense Spa. Then rejoining at One Iron Bar for lunch overlooking the course and the Santa Cruz Mountains. Pricing varies.
• Health and Wellness Classes – Titleist Performance Institute certified trainer Shawna Elliott, formerly with Pebble Beach Resorts and Bandon Dunes Golf Resort, teaches alternative training classes. Elliott creates programs personalized to each golfer’s needs and aims to achieve sustainable, high-performance golf results through TRX suspension training; personally led hikes to CordeValle’s outdoor yoga decks to increase strength, mobility and flexibility; and other training aids and methods for individualized golf workout routines.
