STATE APPAREL makes function golf clothing that incorporates wiping layers into golf pants and shirts. These are special towel-like fabrics for cleaning a golfer’s hands, clubs & golf balls. The clothing provides an intuitive and on-the-spot solution to golf’s persistent problem of water and dirt, so golfers no longer need to step away from a shot to grab a towel. Golfwear is reinvented by transforming golf clothing into golf equipment.
The “Golden Gate Collection” for Fall 2015, which debuted at the PGA Merchandise Show in January, features deep pacific blues and merlot hues inspired by a post-round sunset over the Golden Gate Bridge. Styling draws on a Northern California sensibility for smart and subtle details and manifests in color blocking, all-over prints, and heathered fabrics. All garments feature functional wiping layers to keep clean while on the course.

With the US Open, Father’s Day and Graduation on the horizon, the campaign launches at the peak of the summer golf and gifting season.
