(Flagler Beach, FL) – Champions Tour Player Rod Spittle used his Cure RX Series putter to capture his third Top 10 Finish of the season at the Principal Charity Classic held this past weekend at the Wakonda Club in Des Moines, IA.
Rod finished 4th and recorded 15 birdies and a pair of 68’s in the first and third rounds to finish at 10 under par for the tournament. He collected a paycheck for $104,125.00. This latest Top 5 Finish puts him at 27th on the Charles Schwab Cup Money List for the season.
Spittle has made the cut in all nine events he’s played in this season and is seeing continued improvement in putting stats and has a lot more confidence on the green. In 2014, prior to putting a Cure Putter in his bag, Rod ranked 60th in Putting Average on the Champions Tour. This season, with his Cure RX2 putter in hand, he is ranked 18th in Putting Average with a 1.754 average. Rod largely credits his Cure Putter for helping him finish strong in 2014, earn full exemption for 2015 and move up in the rankings this season. Rod is proudly carrying a Cure Putters Staff Bag on the Champions Tour this season as well.
“My Cure RX2 putter is the most stable putter I have ever used,” said Spittle, “and my putting stats have improved dramatically. The results speak for themselves and I encourage all players to check it out.”
Cure RX Series putters all feature an Extremely High MOI design, which is very stable and offers incredible forgiveness for much greater accuracy and distance control, even on extreme mishits. The adjustable weighting system allows a far greater range of weight than any other putter on the market, allowing the golfer to find the perfect weight to suit their stroke and tempo. The Triangulation Alignment, invented by Deane Beman, helps you line up your putt like an arrow for deadly accuracy. With a higher center of gravity and lower loft, Cure Putters deliver a superior roll – getting the ball rolling sooner, helping it stay on the intended line. Cure Putters’ innovative design takes several problematic variables out of the equation and offers incredible forgiveness and control, resulting in a tighter shot dispersion. Golfers of every skill level will putt more consistently, build confidence and achieve better results with a Cure RX Series putter.
