HILTON HEAD ISLAND, SC — (June 10, 2015) – For the second time in three years, Bear Creek Golf Club will host the American Junior Golf Association Tournament.
“The AJGA tournament attracts the best junior players from around the country and abroad,” explained Brett Heisler, PGA General Manager and Director of Golf at Bear Creek Golf Club. “We hosted the tournament in 2012 and it was a tremendous success – so we are looking forward to a great event again this year.”
Jordan Spieth, Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, Davis Love III, Jim Furyk, Patrick Reed, Paula Creamer and Morgan Pressel are a few of the hundreds of pros who played in AJGA tournaments when they were teenagers.
The event begins on Sunday, June 14 with a Qualifier and ends on Thursday, June 18. Sponsorships are still available for the Junior Pro-Am at the following levels:
