(HILTON HEAD, S.C.) – The Sea Pines Resort – Hilton Head’s most celebrated leisure retreat – has been honored with six TripAdvisor Certificates of Excellence, including The Inn at Harbour Town’s fifth Certificate of Excellence, earning its induction into the Hall of Fame.
The awards celebrate hospitality excellence and are exclusively given to establishments consistently achieving outstanding traveler reviews. To qualify for the prestigious TripAdvisor certificates, establishments must maintain an overall rating of four or higher out of a possible five. The online reviews are unsolicited and based on travelers’ personal experiences.
The Inn at Harbour Town earned a coveted spot in TripAdvisor’s Hall of Fame, which is awarded after receiving Certificates of Excellence five years in a row. Additional certificates were bestowed to Topside Waterfront Restaurant, Harbour Town Golf Links, Harbour Town Bakery and Café, Live Oak, Lowcountry-Inspired Cuisine and The Sea Pines Resort overall.
“We are delighted to be chosen for TripAdvisor’s annual Certificates of Excellence, especially because the awards are based on unbiased reviews from our guests,” says John Munro, Vice President of Hospitality, Sales and Marketing. “We strive to maintain our continued recognition as a world-class destination by providing unparalleled customer service and extraordinary hospitality experiences.”
The Sea Pines Resort was also named the 2015 “Hotelier of the Year” by the South Carolina Restaurant & Lodging Association. The Inn at Harbour Town received Four Diamonds and Four Stars from AAA and Forbes, respectively.
