MEMPHIS, Tenn. (June 22, 2015) – The 2015 U.S. Open champion trusted Project X 6.0 to win his second Major this season at Chambers Bay on Sunday. The win marks the fourth consecutive major championship won with Project X shafts.
The final round was a drama-filled scramble that started with a four-way tie and ended with a single-shot victory with Project X. The 21-year-old Texan won with a 2-putt birdie on 18 to become only the sixth player in history to win both the Masters Tournament and the U.S. Open in the same season, and the youngest to do so since 1922.
