FOX Sports, media partner of the United States Golf Association, recently signed on as an Executive Member of the National Golf Foundation. FOX joins an influential group of 100 leading golf companies who engage with the NGF at the highest membership level.
Last week’s U.S. Open Championship broadcast was the major championship debut for FOX’s team. Having signed a 12-year multi-media agreement with the USGA, FOX is now a significant power in the golf media landscape. As a new Executive Member, NGF will support the network with golf industry intelligence and data and the “on-call” service that the USGA, KemperSports, Nike Golf, Toro and 95 other organizations utilize.
“In their role broadcasting the USGA’s professional and amateur national championships, FOX will bring golf’s unique drama, stories and excitement to millions of viewers,” said Greg Nathan, senior vice president of NGF. “We’re delighted to have the opportunity for NGF to be a valued resource to them.”
