At the BMW International Open at Golfclub Munchen Eiechenreid in Munich, the winner started the day five back, but climbed up the leaderboard and held on to win by one using SuperStroke Flatso 2.0 This is his second BMW International Open win, and his 4th win overall on the European Tour. In the final round, he raced out with a front nine 31, and he needed only 29 putts to shoot a bogey-free 66 and win by one stroke. His win included an incredible 24 birdies. This is his first win of the season, and with it, he moves up from 60th to 25th in the Race to Dubai.
Also, the winner of the 2015 Michigan Amateur, a former PING All-American and 6-time collegiate winner, used SuperStroke TX1 grips and a SuperStroke Slim 1.0 Tour putter grip to bring home the trophy. In August 2014, he won the GAM (Golf Association of Michigan) Championship, a 54-hole stroke play event with a winning score of 8 under par. This marks the first time in 15 years that one player holds Michigan’s two largest amateur titles at the same time, winning them in back-to-back fashion. His route to victory included victories over three collegiate players and a Michigan Golf Hall of Fame member.
