Lansing, MI – The Northern Golf Alliance (NGA), a group of golf courses located in the northern region of the United States, continues to add to their portfolio of benefits for members with the addition of Global Turf Equipment, LLC (GTE), the world’s largest independent seller and exporter of pre-owned golf course equipment.
Kate Moore, the executive director of the Michigan Golf Course Owners Association believes this relationship will be very impactful for NGA members.
“Global Turf is constantly adding inventory to its dynamic website so members looking to save money on equipment will be able to easily go online and impact their business,” said Moore. “GTE is a fiscally prudent alternative to buying brand-new machines.” Association members will receive 5% off the list price of pre-owned equipment as well as a free shipping arrangement, a 90-day warranty and other special promotion
With its expansive 45,000 square foot warehouse and service facility, GTE stocks over 600 pieces of turf equipment at any given time including all major brands and allied equipment for all the NGA associations’ equipment needs. This will allow NGA members to be able to buy and sell turf equipment, trade up for newer models, lease-to-own, and take advantage of NGA only special offers.
“We are extremely excited to partner with the NGA and support this association by offering them a program with flexible options to buy pre-owned equipment in a market that operates about 6 months out of the year because of climate conditions” says Pat Yarbrough, Co-owner of Global Turf Equipment. “By offering the members discounted pricing, flexible shipping, financing and warranty options, we know this will help impact their bottom line and allow them to use their capital in other areas.”
The founding members of the Northern Golf Alliance include the Buckeye Golf Association (BGA) in Ohio, Golf Course Owners of Wisconsin (GCOW), Michigan Golf Course Owners Association (MGCOA), Midwest Golf Course Owners Association (MWGCOA) and Pennsylvania Golf Course Owners Association (PGCOA).
“It doesn’t matter what we do, it matters why we do it,” said Ken Guenther, the executive director of the Buckeye Golf Association of Ohio. “As a member-driven association, we formed this Alliance to develop these types of relationships that provide great tangible and financial benefits to our members.”
