July 7, 2015 – Orem, UT – Clubs Anywhere, a division of Clearstone Sports Network, Inc. is pleased to announce another partnership for club rentals–Waikiki Golf Club Rentals.
In just about every golf travel publication, Hawaii is highlighted as one of the top ten places to stay and play golf in the world. Oahu is home to over 40 golf courses, 25 of them accessible to the general public. According to a 20/20 report, the estimated amount spent in golf travel in Hawaii is well over $2 billion dollars annually.
Waikiki Golf Club Rentals was started a few years ago by Matthew Burke to fill a need in the marketplace for golf travelers who want to play the same set of golf clubs and have them delivered where they want. One of the only golf club rental companies on Oahu, Waikiki Golf Club Rentals rents top TaylorMade equipment, delivers it to where the customer wants, and is connected to a taxi service that can take customers where they want to go — anywhere on the island of Oahu.
According to Burke, “Our strategy is to partner with exclusive distributors that share the same passion as we do to help golfers”.
“Our business model for growth and expansion into the U.S. market is unique and very attractive to many wishing to get into the golf club rentals distribution business,” stated Jeff Gibbs, Founder of Clubs Anywhere.
Clubs Anywhere is currently renting in Arizona, Nevada, Utah, Chicago, the Carolina’s, Florida and now Oahu. For more information or to place a reservation, please visit www.clubsanywhere.com.
About Clubs Anywhere
Founder, Jeff Gibbs, while working as the COO and CIO of a social sciences training organization, was also assisting his father on a product that helped golfers improve their golf swing. Although the product was very effective at generating results, it was only one of thousands of golf training products in the market. This experience did, however, spark an idea that would effectively create a strategy to help people get into the game, influence them to stay in, and help them play more often.
Once the new strategy was seared into his mind, it was impossible for him to stay where he was; he had to quit and start something new. Clearstone Sports Network, Inc was formed. Gibbs kept an eye on the “Sharing Economy” to see if it would persist and gain traction. It became obvious that this new model, now called the “Collaborative Economy”, was here to stay. The goal is to help people get into the game and reduce barriers that were holding them back from playing. Additionally, it was well known that local golf shops, teaching professionals, and golf courses were losing money and some were going out of business. If only they could connect with the right people! The culmination of all these factors drove the development of Clubs Anywhere, a marketplace for golfers and suppliers to connect, share, and interact.
