Intimate student-to-teacher ratios, state-of-the-art technology highlight
‘Boyne Golf Performance Experience,’ ‘Short Game Only Program’
(PETOSKEY, Mich.) – BOYNE Golf – home to 11 premier golf courses spanning three resorts in the scenic northwest corner of Michigan’s Lower Peninsula – announces there’s plenty more swings this summer for players to benefit from BOYNE Golf Academy’s “BOYNE Golf Performance Experience” and “Short Game Only Program.”
The Boyne Golf Performance Experience features a 3:1 student-to-teacher ratio. Offered in one- or two-day sessions at Boyne Highlands Resort, it achieves a thorough evaluation of strengths and weaknesses by combining cutting-edge technology with golf fitness instruction and nutrition tips. Rates begin at $995 / person and open dates are July 18-19, August 15-16 and September 12-13.
Also offered in one- or two-day options, the Short Game Only Program is available at both Boyne Highlands and Boyne Mountain. Featuring a 4:1 student-to-teacher ratio, it includes TrackMan and V1 video analysis of all short-game shots, as well as club fitting (including putter in the V1 Putt Lab). Spaces remain July 16-17, August 6-7 and September 10-11, with rates starting at $399 / person.
“Whatever your skill level, there’s no better place to learn how to lower your scores than BOYNE Golf Academy,” says Brian O’Neill, director of golf instruction. “Using the latest techniques and technology, our acclaimed team of teaching professionals is dedicated to helping guests play their best.”
These instruction tools include GEARS Golf, the most-advanced full-swing club and body tracking platform. BOYNE Golf Academy is the Midwest’s only GEARS location, using full 3D technology to measure and analyze every swing nuance from address to follow through. Data is recorded using 26 sensors strategically placed at key spots on the body, plus six more sensors on the club, and eight high-speed cameras running at 36 frames per second.
Complementing BOYNE Golf Academy are 11 courses at BOYNE Golf’s three flagship resorts:
