SAN MARTIN, Calif. (July 16, 2015) – Tickets are now on sale for the 71st U.S. Women’s Open, to be held July 7-10, 2016, at CordeValle in San Martin, Calif.
This will be the first Women’s Open ever held in the Bay Area and the second USGA championship conducted at CordeValle, which previously hosted the 2013 U.S. Senior Women’s Amateur Championship.

Spectators have the option to choose from two ticket options this summer. All tickets include free parking and free shuttle transportation to the admission gate.
The first option is the Weekly Trophy Club Package. It includes one individual daily ticket for all seven days (Monday – Sunday) with access to the exclusive, climate-controlled Trophy Club pavilion between the first tee and 18th green. The Trophy Club pavilion features upscale food and beverage for purchase, along with live television coverage of the U.S. Women’s Open. A complimentary official championship program is also included with purchase. The Trophy Club package is available for $199.
The second ticket option is the Weekly Grounds Ticket Package. It includes one individual daily ticket for all seven days (Monday – Sunday) with access to grounds and all grandstands on course. A complimentary official championship program is also included with purchase. The Weekly Grounds Package is available for $129.
In addition to these weekly ticket options, the USGA, CordeValle and the Northern California Golf Association (NCGA) collaborated to create a unique introductory offer available for NCGA members. When NCGA members purchase tickets they will instantly receive $1,500 in exclusive offers from eight top golf courses in the area, including a stay-and-play package at CordeValle. Other courses participating in the NCGA offer are: Bayonet/Blackhorse Golf Courses, Cinnabar Hills Golf Club, Pasatiempo Golf Club, Poppy Hills Golf Course, Poppy Ridge Golf Course, Silverado Resort & Spa and the Course at Wente Vineyards. The NCGA offer is only available for a limited time.
Throughout the week of the 2016 U.S. Women’s Open, juniors ages 17 and under will receive free admission when accompanied by a ticketed adult. The front row of each grandstand will be reserved for juniors.
Tickets for the 2016 U.S. Women’s Open are available online exclusively at www.2016uswomensopen.com. All tickets are electronic, allowing purchasers to print at home for added flexibility.
Additionally, online volunteer registration for the 2016 U.S. Women’s Open is now open.

All volunteers are required to purchase the volunteer package, starting at $100, which includes a golf shirt, headwear and one volunteer credential valid for all seven days of the championship, as well as complimentary food, snacks and beverages on the days they volunteer. Each volunteer will be asked to work approximately 16 to 20 hours, or four to five shifts over the course of the championship.
