Fourteen Golf tallies titles in midst of summer

IRVINE, Calif. (August 7, 2015) – July proved to be one of Fourteen Golf’s biggest months on the course, with clubs in play for two key professional titles and brand ambassador Chad Collins recording his best finish of the PGA TOUR season.

“The success of the past month just reaffirms what we know to be true, which is the Fourteen Golf line is the premier irons and wedge on the market today,” said Marcy Kamoda, the COO of Fourteen Golf. “From Chad’s run in July to a pair of big wins for players using our wedges, we’re thrilled that the game’s best players are trusting our clubs to take them to the top of the game.”

Collins put together one of his most impressive stretches of golf of the season in July, including a Top 10 finish at The Greenbrier Classic in White Sulphur Springs, W.V. Firing four rounds in the 60s, he finished at 11-under par and placed sixth in his best performance of the year. He’s also recorded a Top 50 performance in the RBC Canadian Open against one of the PGA TOUR’s deepest post-major fields.

Also on the PGA TOUR, the RM-12 was in play with one of the game’s hottest golfers en route to a Top 10 finish at The Greenbrier Classic and a Top 12 finish at the British Open.

On the LPGA Tour, the winner of the Marathon Classic presented by Owens Corning and O-1 had the RM-21 wedges in her bag. Her stellar play around the green helped her fire three rounds in the mid-60s to close out the tournament and lift her to her first LPGA victory.

Additionally, the winner of the PGA Professional National Championship had the UT-511 and RM-21 in his bag. Trailing the leader by five shots with five holes to play, the eventual champion rallied down the stretch to pick up a one-shot win and earn a spot in the PGA Championship at Whistling Straits in Kohler, Wis.
