(RANCHO CUCAMONGA) – Nexbelt® Tour Staff Professional, Jim Furyk, captured his fifth Top 5 of the season with a T-3rd Place Finish at the WGC Bridgestone Invitational this past weekend. The event was held at the Firestone CC in Akron, OH. This 3rd Place Finish earned him 170 FedEx Cup Points, moving him up to 17th in the FedEx Cup Ranking and 4th in the Official World Golf Ranking for the season.
“Jim is playing some outstanding golf right now,” said Eddie Rowland, Co-Founder of Nexbelt, “and it appears that his game has peaked at just the right time. I can’t wait to see what happens next week at the PGA Championship.”
The “X” belt Furyk sported at the WGC Bridgestone Invitational is a brand new design from Nexbelt for 2015. “We’ve received so many compliments on the new “X” belt that Jim is wearing this season,” said Rowland. “He was the first player to wear it on Tour and it’s become one of our biggest sellers.”
Nexbelt is known for their innovative technology and providing golfers with maximum comfort and minimal adjusting. The unique ratcheting system called PreciseFitTM allows the wearer to adjust the belt in ¼ inch increments, providing the golfer with the best fit, feel, and fashion available.

Company Founders, Tom Hunsucker, and Eddie and Francis Rowland started Nexbelt in 2010 with a vision to reinvent the way Americans buy, sell and wear their belts. Tired of the old outdated pin/buckle system, they set their sights on creating a belt that would be both adjustable and highly fashionable at the same time. Out of this passion, Nexbelt, “The Belt With No Holes”® was born.
