Angels Camp, CA (August 13, 2015) – The sounds of Latin jazz will be resonating through California’s Gold Country on Saturday, August 22, 2015, when Greenhorn Creek Resort plays host to “Sip ‘n Salsa.”

The sassy and swanky, end-of-summer soireé will be headlined by the Mario Flores Latin Jazz Band, led by Mario Flores on congas and vocals, and members who have performed with some of the world’s most noted musicians such as Pete Escovedo, Cornelius Bumpus, Don Shelton, Freddie Revel and Bobby McFerrin. They will be joined on the Cellar Room patio by the spicy moves of salsa dancers who will, undoubtedly, be encouraging guests to participate.

To revel in the entertainment beginning at 7:00 PM, there is a cover charge of $15 with advance reservation or $20 at the door. Guests choosing to start the evening earlier at 5:00 PM are invited to dine at CAMPS Restaurant on a Latin-style meal that will include local corn and heirloom tomato salad with black beans and chicken enchilada for $15, or smoky-rubbed rib-eye steak with chimichurri for $30. Special drinks for the evening include vintner member wines-by-the-glass, beer and sangria for $5.

Reservations for Sip ‘n Salsa can be made by calling (209) 736-8181. For further information on the Mario Flores Latin Jazz Band, go to www.mariofloreslatinmusic.com.
