Another record was also claimed by Spieth after his performance at Whistling Straits

WIXOM, Mich. – Jordan Spieth continues to rewrite the record books as his phenomenal 2015 season continues. A Sunday 68 put Spieth in second place in the PGA Champion but also atop the world golf rankings. At 22-years-old, this makes Jordan the second youngest world number one in history.

“I accomplished one of my life-long goals and in the sport of golf,” Spieth said. “That will never be taken away from me now. I’ll always be a No. 1 player in the world. That’s what, when I look back on this year, the consistency that we have had this year and especially being able to step it up in the biggest stages, that’s a huge confidence builder, and that’s what’s allowed us as a team to become the best, the No. 1 ranked, and I believe right now, the best in the world.”

In the process, Spieth also broke the record for collective score in all four majors combined (54-under-par) and became just the third player ever to finish in the top-5 in every major championship in a calendar year.

“We are extremely proud of what Jordan has accomplished both on and off the golf course. He is a tremendous ambassador for the sport, and for SuperStroke,” said Greg Sabella, VP of Marketing for SuperStroke Golf. Becoming the #1 Ranked Player in the World was his ultimate goal, and seeing our product in his hands for each and every putt is very rewarding.”

SuperStroke’s patented parallel technology design allows for even pressure in both hands, eliminating wrist movement in the putting stroke. This helps the golfer swing the putter more freely, making it easier to use the big muscles in the arms and shoulders, and minimizes one hand dominating the other.

SuperStroke (www.superstrokeusa.com) grips are long lasting and extremely shock absorbent. They are designed with a high-tech polyurethane material featuring cross traction technology that improves feel and tackiness. Combined with SuperStroke’s patented parallel technology further increases consistency and lowers scores for every level of golfer, even professionals.
