MEMPHIS, Tenn. (August 17, 2015) – The winner of the 97th PGA Championship trusted Dynamic Gold in his bag to secure his first Major victory at Whistling Straits yesterday. This is the fourth Major this season won with shafts by True Temper Sports.
The 27-year-old champion dominated the field on Sunday, always staying at least two strokes ahead of his competition, and hitting 15 greens during the final round. He secured the win on 16 when he hit his Dynamic Gold shafted 4-iron from 227 yards to set up for a two-putt birdie. In addition to winning the PGA Championship title, he set a new 72-hole tournament low, breaking the record previously set in 2000.
