Kicking off at 8 a.m., the 36-hole, stroke-play tournament is open to all players; divisions, classes and flights will be determined once competition begins. Entry is $59 for American FootGolf League members and $79 for non-members which includes a one-year AFGL membership. Proper golf attire is required and competitors must supply their own soccer ball.

The U.S. National FootGolf Championship is a qualifier for the FootGolf World Cup to be played at Pilar Golf Club in Argentina on January 6-10, 2016. The top three finishers at Sydney Marovitz Golf Course earn a spot on the U.S. team for the second annual global event presented by the Federation for International FootGolf.
“We are honored to host dedicated ‘FootGolfers’ for this amazing event,” says Bill Rehanek, Senior Vice President of Operations of BCG. “FootGolf is unique and a lot of fun, and it is attracting new generations of golfers and non-golfers to courses coast to coast.”
One of the fastest growing sports nationwide, FootGolf assigns each hole a “par” and players tee off using a soccer ball, strategically kicking it until they make it in the 21-inch cup. Holes are cut into the rough to protect conditions of fairways and greens, and to avoid affecting everyday golfers. A comprehensive rule book is provided by the AFGL.
