Chesapeake, VA- Mike Waugh, the PGA General Manager at Battlefield Golf Club (Chesapeake, VA), has been a strong supporter of Patriot Golf Day since its inception in 2007. This year marked the sixth annual event that Mike and his committee of 12, who have over 162 years of military service, have hosted a golf event that honors many veterans and military family members. The event also features a wonderful presentation of the colors by the Color Guard. Thanks to Mike’s efforts and the support of area PGA Professionals like Andy Weissinger, Chip Olenick, and Allen Wronowski, the 2015 Battlefield Patriot Golf Day event raised $31,500 for the Folds of Honor Foundation. Including this year’s event, Mike and his committee have raised $134,000 for the Folds of Honor!
