MEMPHIS, Tenn. (September 28, 2015) – The 2015 Tour Championship relied on Project X shafts for a victory at East Lake Golf Club that also won him the FedEx Cup and returned him to the #1 spot in the Official World Golf Rankings.
The 22-year-old Texan capped off an incredible season with Project X shafts in his irons that included two Major Championships, 5 PGA TOUR wins and 10 additional Top 10 finishes. At the Tour Championship, he shot 66 on Friday and then took the lead on Saturday with a birdie on 18 and never gave it back. On Sunday, he finished with a four-stroke victory. With the win and the FedEx Cup title, his season earnings are up to $22 million-the most single-season earnings in PGA TOUR history
