(SHELTON, Wash.) – Serving as a preferred stay-and-play option for golf fans visiting Washington for the 2015 U.S. Open, Salish Cliffs (www.salishcliffs.com) saw a 7.8% increase in total rounds played and a revenue jump of 8.5% over 2014. In conjunction with the accompanying Little Creek Casino Resort, stay-and-play packages experienced a spike in bookings as well.
“Having a marquee pro event come to the Pacific Northwest certainly put the spotlight on nearby courses like ours and gave trophy hunters a chance to cross Salish Cliffs off their bucket list,” says Director of Golf David Kass, PGA. “Attracting new guests and golfers this season bodes well for repeat visitors, and we look forward to welcoming them back.”
In other news, Salish Cliffs added a new cart fleet consisting of 72 2016 EZ-GO RXV carts with built-in TKV GPS. Equipped with windshields and rain canopies for the occasionally wet Washington climate, as well as the power to smoothly climb the slopes of the Kamilche Valley, the carts are available as of October 1, 2015.
In addition, the carts are emblazoned with the Salish Cliffs and Little Creek logos, USB ports for mobile device charging and detailed hole overviews and suggested strategies upon arrival at every tee box.
