Experienced owner-operator to carry out long-term vision at premier 36-hole Oregon facility
(FORT WORTH, Texas) – Escalante Golf, boutique owner-operator of high-end clubs and courses, has acquired a controlling interest in 36-hole Pumpkin Ridge Golf Club (North Plains, Ore.)
Opened in 1992 just outside of Portland, Pumpkin Ridge has established itself as one of the Pacific Northwest’s most-heralded clubs and golf destinations. Former Golf World “Golf Course Architect of the Year” Bob Cupp designed both Witch Hollow and Ghost Creek with input from Portland-native and former protégé John Fought.

It is the current venue for the season-ending WinCo Foods Portland Open where the top 25 Web.com players are awarded PGA TOUR status. Ghost Creek, a par 71, 6,871 yard daily-fee facility, meanders through wetlands punctuated by lush stands of trees. Undulating fairways, immaculate greens and strategic bunkering are other hallmarks.
