Playing SteelFiber i110 graphite shafts in his irons, Malnati finished fifth on the money list and received his PGA Tour Card for 2016.

Malnati played college golf at the University of Missouri, and turned professional in 2009. He is a two-time winner on the Web.com Tour. This year marks his best season as a professional.
