Palm Springs, CA – Oct. 19, 2015
This is FootGolf Magazine, the official magazine of the American FootGolf League (AFGL) and 445 affiliated courses, proudly releases its fall issue: www.thisisfootgolf.com.
“Our fall issue exemplifies the color and excitement FootGolf creates around the country,” says editor Harvey Silverman. “This issue features the first ever U.S. National Championship – kind of like golf’s U.S. Open. Over 100 U.S. and foreign players competed on the Sydney Marovitz Golf Course FootGolf course in Chicago, and four champions were crowned in the men’s, women’s, senior, and club categories. Just like in golf, our men’s national champion is named Jordan too. ”
Silverman continues, “The 2016 U.S. FootGolf World Cup is complete, with three new players gaining team status at the U.S. National Championships, plus one highly qualified at-large selection. We feature all 16 team members in this issue, in a unique format. The December issue of This is FootGolf will follow them on the road to Argentina and the 2016 World Cup.”
Over 50 AFGL courses take part in This is FootGolf’s custom-branding program, and have received their customized issue to distribute to their own customers. “Our digital format inserts a full-page ad and front cover brand image for any AFGL facility, like this, http://riverridge.thisisfootgolf.com,” says Silverman. “It is a dynamic way to promote the growing national and international sport of FootGolf played at that course. Also, as participation increases, we are gaining interest from potential sponsors and advertisers. The FootGolf demographic is highly desirable – young, active on social media, athletic, and with discretionary income to spend playing this new sport.”
