KATY, TX – Heritage Golf Group is proud to announce that Meadowbrook Farms Golf Club, a Heritage Golf Group property, is sending two Junior Golfers, Treed Huang and Lauren Nguyen, to represent Southern Texas in the 4th Annual Texas Junior Cup Matches October 24-25, 2015.
The Texas Junior Cup is an annual competitive event with the Northern and Southern Texas PGA Sections. This fiercely contested rivalry between two sister sections is marked by close matches, dramatic shots, uncompromising sportsmanship, and new friendships. Each team consists of 12 junior golfers (six boys and six girls) who are 12 years old and younger. The event is a Ryder Cup style event where Juniors’ play three 9 hole matches in three different style formats.
Both Treed Huang and Lauren Nguyen are current members at Meadowbrook Farms Golf Club. “The Club and our Ambassadors are extremely proud of all the accomplishments of both of these young people. They both work tirelessly on their golf games and are also model citizens. They are role models for other Junior Golfers who want to excel. We wish them well in the upcoming Texas Junior Cup matches,” said Layne Ricks, General Manager of Meadowbrook Farms Golf Club.

The Southern Texas PGA has taken a leadership role in the region’s junior golf activities through the Southern Texas PGA Foundation’s Junior Golf Program.
