Stafford, VA- The Middle Atlantic Section of the PGA (MAPGA) elected new board members at their Fall Membership meeting. Continuing their roles on the Middle Atlantic Board, Matthew Schulze will move from Vice President to President and J.P. Lunn, PGA General Manager of Sabre Golf will now serve as Vice President after serving the previous two years as Secretary. Schulze, Tournament Director of LPGA Kingsmill Classic at Kingsmill Resort will become the 44th President of the MAPGA and will succeed John Madden, Head PGA Professional at River Bend Club as Madden will now become the Honorary President. Josh Tremblay, Head PGA Professional at Springfield Golf & Country Club was elected as Secretary and Greg Scott, Director of Golf at Army Navy Country Club was elected as Director of Large. Brian Dix, Assistant PGA Professional at the University of Maryland Golf Course was elected as the A-8 (Assistant Professional) Director

The Middle Atlantic Section of the PGA (MAPGA), located in Stafford, Virginia, is one of 41 Sections of The Professional Golfers’ Association of America (PGA), headquartered in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. As a part of The PGA since 1925, the MAPGA consists of over 1,100 members and apprentices in Maryland, Virginia, the District of Columbia and small portions of Pennsylvania and West Virginia. Together, the MAPGA golf professionals, volunteers and staff support the mission of The PGA to promote enjoyment and involvement in the game of golf and to contribute to the game’s growth by providing services to PGA Professionals and the golf industry.
