Louisville, KY – Boxcar PR will serve as the public relations agency of record for Bionic Gloves, the leader in golf-glove performance innovation. Boxcar, a Louisville-based public relations and communications agency, will oversee all media relations and corporate communications for the brand as it expands its market beyond golf into fitness, work, gardening and other glove segments.

“We’re eager to work with the PR professionals at Boxcar to continue to get the Bionic story out as we develop new products and target new market demographics,” said Cheryl Fink, Director of Marketing and Operations for Bionic. “They are a perfect fit for our team.”

Bionic Gloves is a division of the family-owned Hillerich & Bradsby, Co. based in Louisville. Designed by a leading orthopedic hand specialist, Bionic technology is totally unique in the marketplace. The difference is found in the design based on the anatomy of the hand and the science of ergonomics. Bionic are the only gloves designed with patented pad technology to give wearers more comfort, a better grip and two times more durability than a standard leather golf glove.

“As a Louisville-based agency we relish the opportunity to work with one of our city’s premiere brands. We are extremely excited about telling the Bionic story and sharing their innovative products with both the media and consumers,” said Bob Gunnell, president and founder of Boxcar.

Boxcar will be working in collaboration with Lowry Creative, creative social media agency as well as SQ1, website and digital marketing, and Spendsetter on the Bionic Grip Crew App.

About Bionic Gloves: Bionic is at the forefront of glove technology in many sports and activities – golf, fitness/weightlifting, racquetball, tennis, gardening and others. Bionic gloves have received numerous awards and recognition including the National Home Gardening Club Seal of Approval, the National Health & Wellness Club Seal of Approval, the Handyman’s Club of America Member Tested Seal of Approval and the PGA Tour Partners Magazine Member Tested Seal of Approval. Bionic is a division of the family-owned Hillerich & Bradsby, Co. H&B also owns PowerBilt®, makers of golf clubs since 1916, and manufactures iconic Louisville Slugger® wood bats, the Official Bat of Major League Baseball®. The company also operates the renowned Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory, a leading tourist destination.
