EWGA Announces Coates Golf Sponsorship For Match Play Finals

November 5, 2015

PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. – November 5, 2015 – When the EWGA (Executive Women’s Golf Association) holds its match play EWGA Cup Finals at Reunion Resort in Orlando, the competitors, guests and volunteers will meet Mollie Coates, president of Coates Golf, and her team. During practice rounds on November 11 and 12, Coates Golf will have an interactive hands-on station where players can learn about the company and see for themselves that Coates equipment has been engineered to produce results and overall game improvement.

As the Thursday evening Welcome Reception sponsor, Coates will interact with more than 300 EWGA competitors, friends, family and volunteers from throughout the country participating in the EWGA Cup Finals. At the Welcome Reception, Coates will invite ladies to take part in the conversation around what it means to Expect More from THE industry’s equipment line for women.

“Coates Golf offers equipment specifically engineered for women with performance, rather than forgiveness, as the goal,” says Coates. “We empower women to expect more, grow the game, and have more fun along the way. That said, we are fans of what the EWGA means to women’s golf and we are thrilled to be a partner for its Cup Finals. It is going to be a great weekend of women’s golf!”

Now in its fifth year, the EWGA Cup brings together teams of eight women who compete in Four Ball and Singles Match Play at one of eight regional qualifiers throughout the country to earn their team spot on the Finals roster. The Cup’s format mirrors what people see in professional golf with the popular Ryder Cup, President’s Cup and Solheim Cup formats. The event encourages women of all skill levels to compete, promoting friendly, fun competitive play among its membership.

This year’s EWGA Cup Finals includes 296 women from across the U.S and Canada competing on both the Palmer and Watson courses at the Reunion Resort on Friday and Saturday, November 13 and 14. Golf opportunities for guest play and a Sunday Fun Day optional golf also are offered. It’s all about the team camaraderie, the fun, the spirit and the outfits. It’s an experience that has caught on within the EWGA golf community of women as a top notch, action-packed golf event – yes with competition, but with a ton of attitude! “Coates Golf’s commitment to women golfers and brand positioning are sure to resonate with our members, ” says EWGA’s Director of Partner Relationships, Ashley Nelson. “Since the EWGA first emerged in 1991, we’ve made the commitment to grow women’s golf and provide women with access into the game. Regardless of a woman’s skill level at golf, EWGA doesn’t patronize or play down the fact that golf takes time, practice and personal resources. Like Coates Golf, EWGA has taken the pledge to provide a golf experience to women that’s nothing less than the best!”

About Coates Golf
