Hospitality experiences allow local businesses opportunities to connect, engage and entertain

BENTON HARBOR, Michigan, Nov. 17, 2015 – The PGA of America is pleased to offer several hospitality options for the 2016 Senior PGA Championship presented by KitchenAid. The Championship will take place May 24-29 at Harbor Shores in Benton Harbor, Michigan, which has played host to two previous Senior PGA Championships.

The Senior PGA Championship presented by KitchenAid is committed to understanding local business’ needs and delivering the very best experience with packages to suit a range of budgets. Local Michigan businesses, along with companies from throughout the Midwest, are able to experience complete hospitality, combining a world class venue with great golf, through private suites or shared venues. Championship hospitality packages provide ample opportunities for networking and entertaining prospective and current clients, and other special guests.

“Entertaining clients at the Senior PGA Championship presented by KitchenAid has given us the opportunity to provide our clients a unique experience that they can’t get somewhere else,” said Jim Seitz, president of 1st Source Bank, a corporate partner of the Senior PGA Championship presented by KitchenAid. “Unlike other types of entertainment events, we have found that golf provides an excellent opportunity to have deeper conversations with our customers. Not only have they enjoyed the golf; but the food, atmosphere, and opportunity to see the tournament up close have made the Championship a must-attend event.”

According to Championship Director Ryan Ogle, the Senior PGA Championship presented by KitchenAid welcomes a variety of corporate partners, including large and small businesses. “The hospitality packages at the Championship provide an ideal platform for local businesses to entertain and engage with clients, friends, and guests while showcasing the beauty of southwest Michigan and making lasting connections.”

A full list of hospitality offerings are available at hospitality.pgalinks.com/senior/2016/sales, and customized packages are available. Interested businesses may contact Brent Curtis, championship manager, corporate hospitality, at 269-487-3202 or bcurtis@pgahq.com to answer any questions and discuss various hospitality options.
