Quincy, IL….Pepsi Little People’s Golf Championships is thrilled to announce that it is a new affiliate event in the Future Champions Golf World Series Tournament Platform.

As a FCG World Series affiliate, Pepsi Little People’s will have ranking points for the 2016 FCG World Series Season Long Player of the Year race. In addition, the Boys and Girls 16-18 age Division Champions will qualify for the 2017 FCG National Championship.

FCG and Pepsi Little People’s both strive to provide a competitive environment focused on an opportunity for families to unite and come together to compete in a fun environment.

“I am thrilled for FCG to be a part of one of the longest running junior golf tournaments worldwide,” stated Chris Smeal, Founder of Future Champions Golf. “To have the opportunity to work with Tournament Founder Nan Ryan, who shares the same beliefs in junior golf, in a true honor.”

“Becoming affiliated with Future Champions Golf Tour is especially gratifying to Little People’s,” said Ryan. ” Chris Smeal has done an outstanding job in creating this Tour. We look forward to working with FCG in the promotion of junior golf.”

The 2016 Pepsi Little People’s will be played at two golf courses in Quincy, Illinois, June 20-22. Entry forms will be available at on February 1 at www.littlepeoplesgolf.com

More information about the alliance between FCG and Little People’s will be available in the near future.

About Pepsi Little People’s Golf Championships

The Pepsi Little People’s Golf Championships is an international junior golf tournament for boys and girls ages 3 through 18. It has been held annually in Quincy, Illinois, on the Monday-Tuesday-Wednesday following Father’s Day since 1974. Competition is held in seven age divisions for boys and seven for girls. Little People’s is included in the AJGA Performance Based Entry system for boys/girls in the 14-18 and 12-13 age divisions. It is a qualifier for the IMG Academy Junior World Golf Championships, the 2016 PARS and World Stars of Junior Golf, and for the 2017 Optimist International. Little People’s is a ranked tournament for the Junior Golf Scoreboard and GolfWeek/Sagarin Junior Rankings.
