Charlotte, NC. – Heritage Golf Group, a boutique owner and operator of premier private, resort and daily fee golf properties across the U.S., announced today that Rodney Davis has joined the Charlotte based team as Director of Information Technology. His extensive expertise in information technology and hospitality will enable Heritage Golf Group to expand and elevate its quality portfolio. The hire is a result of Heritage’s ongoing commitment to foster creative and innovative hospitality experiences that exceed the expectations of members and guests. To deliver upon this commitment and evolve the golf club experience to the highest level, Heritage Golf Group continues to expand its team of seasoned experts who specialize in golf, information technology, operations, culinary, lodging, fitness, service training, agronomy, and special events.
As Director of Information Technology for Heritage Golf Group, Rodney Davis will be responsible for the design, development, implementation, and support of the information strategies and all IT functions on a multiplatform environment. He will also be responsible for managing a wide variety of people with expertise and systems knowledge within the IT department.
In his previous position as Director of Information Technology for Windstar Cruises LLC, Rodney effectively handled all aspects of planning, implementation, and support of IT worldwide. He was previously the Management Information Systems (MIS) Manager for Northwood Health Systems where he functioned as the systems administrator for servers and network infrastructure hardware and software. Prior to joining Windstar Cruises, Davis worked at Pinehurst Resort and Country Club as the Management Information Systems (MIS) Manager where he was in charge of strategy and oversight of network infrastructure across the enterprise. When asked about joining the Heritage Golf Group team, Rodney said, “I am looking forward to joining the team at Heritage Golf Group during this exciting time of growth and development. My aim is to leverage my years of experience in Hospitality Technology to help in the company’s growth and enhance the Member/Guest experience.”
