Play better and play more often in paradise along the Pacific
Dana Point, Calif. (Dec. 17, 2015) – Golfers vowing to play more and better golf in 2016 are getting a helping hand from the Monarch Beach Golf Links and St. Regis Monarch Beach Resort.
The resort’s New Year’s Resolution Golf Package includes everything the dedicated player needs to make 2016 a great year for golf.
The centerpiece of the Resolution Package is the Monarch Beach Golf Links “Golf Physical,” a 12-month golf-wellness action plan customized for each guest. The complete analysis begins with a thorough examination of the golfer’s playing ability, goals, physicality, and mental approach to the game. There is an on-site specialist for every need, including a trainer to facilitate a personalized conditioning program and a club fitter to make equipment adjustments.
The package – which launches January 1, 2016 – also features an on-course playing lesson with one of the resort’s PGA professionals, unlimited golf on the Robert Trent Jones, Jr.-designed golf course, and lodging for two nights in a recently restyled guest room.
And this assistance does not have to be “one and done.” Signing up for the New Year’s Golf Resolution Package includes the opportunity to return to St. Regis Monarch Beach Resort after July 1 with a 15 percent discount off posted rates, based on availability, for a “golf wellness check-up” and to play more golf.
This spectacular Forbes Five-Star, AAA Five-Diamond property in Southern California’s Orange County is currently getting its own check-up including a makeover of the main entrance, lobby, signature restaurant, pool, and spa. Guests can expect only minimal disruption during their oceanside retreat.
The golf course will not be affected by the renovation work, nor will any guest rooms, which were remodeled earlier this year. The redesigned rooms are awash with natural light that pours through expansive glass doors leading out to private open-air balconies. Plush bedding, lounge seating, and a quiet worktable complete the serene setting. The master bathroom provides spa-like comforts such as a deep soaking bathtub, which enjoys daylight through plantation shutters; a rainfall shower; and a spacious, amenity-rich vanity.
Monarch Beach Golf Links is a modern design inspired by the legendary seaside Scottish links. Set along dramatic bluffs that offer sweeping views of the Pacific, the 6,600-yard, par70 course is a well-crafted routing of tight fairways and rolling greens that provide challenge as well as enjoyment to golfers of all levels. The resort is recipient of a Silver Medal from GOLF magazine and rated 4.5 stars (out of 5) by Golf Digest’s “Best Places to Play.”
At the resort’s private beach, guests can enjoy surfing, body-boarding, body-surfing, stand up paddle-boarding, and ocean kayaking, as well as private lessons in all these sports.
The resort also features Chef Michael Mina’s lauded Stonehill Tavern and the iconic St. Regis Butler Service.
The New Year’s Golf Resolution Package starts at $625 per person (double occupancy) and includes two nights accommodations, golf playing lesson, and golf physical. For additional information on the package, email Eric Lohman, PGA General Manager, at elohman@monarchbeachgolf.com.
