PHILADELPHIA, Pa. (December 17, 2015) – The Traveling Golfer television show, based in Philadelphia, PA, takes another leap forward in online syndication adding Golf Coast Magazine’s official website (GolfCoastMagazine.com) as the newest outlet to air the program.
Golf Coast Magazine covers three very important markets for Mid-Atlantic states and Florida golfers – Tampa, Sarasota and Naples. With the best area coverage of courses, events, people and products, Golf Coast Magazine is the complete print destination for golfers in their footprint, with an expanding national online readership.
“With the growing list of Traveling Golfer episodes showcasing the different courses in Florida, the next logical step for expansion was to a known and trusted outlet in the state itself,” comments show host Tony Leodora. “The Philadelphia connection is strong along the west coast of Florida bringing many traveling golfers to Tampa, Sarasota and Naples, and our television show will compliment an already outstanding publication’s online component.”
Ryan Ruppert, publisher of Golf Coast Magazine, is equally excited about being the first Florida outlet for the Philadelphia based television show.
“Golf Coast Magazine has been expanding quickly because we connect a tremendous network of golfers with the Golf Industry. Tony Leodora’s Traveling Golfer is a top-tier program and I’m absolutely thrilled to join its online network.”
GolfCoastMagazine.com becomes the 13th website to syndicate the Traveling Golfer, a program that was launched as a web-based video on YouTube in early 2013.
Now a part of the NBC Universal family of programming, Traveling Golfer is on Comcast SportsNet and The Comcast Network in the Philadelphia, Baltimore/Washington D.C., Pittsburgh and North Jersey television markets. It is also available on Xfinity On-Demand.
Responding to golfers’ never-ending demands to learn more about interesting golf courses and golf resorts across the country and around the world, well-traveled host Tony Leodora created the Traveling Golfer so he could take viewers on video trips to some of the most exciting golf locations. The show won first place for golf television broadcasts in the prestigious International Network of Golf Awards, presented at the PGA Merchandise Show in January.
The Traveling Golfer is a series of monthly shows hosted by Leodora, who has 16 years of experience in televised golf. The featured destination stays on the website for one month, before being replaced by a new show. The old shows are archived for continued viewing on the home website, travelinggolfervideo.com.
