FlightScope Announces New Academy Format for 2016 PGA Merchandise Show

Sports tech leader announces new program and registration for popular educational session at national golf show

ORLANDO, Fla. – December 22, 2015 – FlightScope®, a world leader in the development and manufacturing of 3D Doppler ball tracking monitors, golf radars and launch monitors for sports, today announces registration for its new, redesigned FlightScope Academy at the 2016 PGA Merchandise Show is open. The FlightScope Academy is an educational forum for golf professionals to learn about the usage and benefits of FlightScope technology in teaching and fitting.

“We have totally revamped our Academy this year to reflect the ever changing needs of the golf industry and enhancements in sports technology,” said Henri Johnson, founder and CEO of FlightScope. “With our advanced technology, we are constantly innovating and adding new features and applications to our products. We want to ensure our customers always know how to make the most of FlightScope technology.”

With the new Academy format, attendees will receive a Professional Level Certification and explore important FlightScope fundamentals including:

• FlightScope history

• Radar setup and operation

• Teaching with FlightScope and understanding the D-Plane

• Software navigation

• Club fitting

• NEW: FocusBand, mental training integration

• How to Generate Revenue with FlightScope

The Academy will also feature several FlightScope presenters including Henri Johnson, FlightScope Inventor and CEO, Alex Trujillo, FlightScope Application Manager and Sales & Support Manager, Stephen Aumock, FlightScope Advisory Board Member, Michael Neff, FlightScope Ambassador and Henri Boulton, FocusBand Performance Director.

“I think this year’s attendees will be very satisfied with the changes we have made to the Academy,” adds Johnson. “They’re not only learning how to best use FlightScope to improve skills, but also how FlightScope can be a great tool for instructors to increase their client base and expand their own business.”

The 2016 FlightScope Academy is Tuesday, January 26, 2016 from 11:00a.m. – 5:30 p.m. Registration is only accepted prior to the show and open to attendees of the 2016 PGA Merchandise Show. PGA professionals earn 6 MSR credits for attending.
