Orlando, Fla.- Justin Bruton, the Lead Instructor for The Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables, Fla., has been named an instructor for Golf Channel Academy.

A leading authority in how the swing and body are connected, Bruton joins a group of the most influential and recognizable teachers who have come together to establish a dedicated network of instruction facilities with the active support of Golf Channel, the game’s leading global multimedia and golf entertainment source.

“I’m very excited to be among the coaches associated with the dynamic Golf Channel Academy,” Bruton said. “This is a great opportunity for golf coaches to work together, learning from one another, and adopting best coaching practices to better serve the golfers. My goal is to help clients learn to play, play better and enjoy playing golf more.”

Launched in April, Golf Channel Academy is the first network of its kind devoted to efficiently growing the business of golf instruction. With 65 locations already committed, Golf Channel Academy will be inviting additional coaches to become part of the network as it continues to grow.

A full-time instructor since 2003, Bruton has attended numerous seminars and obtained many certifications to maintain the highest performance and most current knowledge in the golf industry. Bruton has earned multiple certifications with Titleist Performance Institute (TPI), as well as teaching certifications with TrackMan and Bentley Kinetics.

While Bruton’s commitment to new technology has enhanced his efforts to measure and truly understand each student’s specific strengths and weaknesses, he still considers an on-course evaluation as the most important starting point.

Originally from Dallas, Bruton played collegiate golf at Southern Nazarene University in Oklahoma City, and also played professionally for two years. His special interests include 3D motion capture data, TrackMan, advanced club fitting and on-course coaching, as well as fitness and nutrition.
