Orlando, Fla. (Jan. 7, 2016) – Ten coaches representing Golf Channel Academy facilities from coast to coast were recognized in 2015 as among the best teachers in the game by the PGA of America and for their roles in helping grow the game through instruction by the Golf Range Association of America.
“This is well-deserved recognition for some of the most talented and dedicated golf coaches in the game,” said Todd Wilson, CEO, Golf Channel Academy, the newly formed network of many of the nation’s top instructors. “Having been established only last April, the Golf Channel Academy is proud to have them as original members.”
Golf Channel Academy instructors earning 2015 top honors as “Teacher of The Year” from the PGA of America:
• Claude Brousseau, Ko Olina Golf Academy, for the Aloha Section
• Larry Ward, High Performance Golf Academy, for the Kentucky Section
• Anders Mattson, Saratoga National Golf Club, for the Northeast New York Section
• Brech Spradley, Barton Creek Golf Academy, for the Southern Texas Section
Also, Randy Chang, of the Journey at Pechanga Resort in Temecula, Calif., won the PGA of America’s “Youth Player Development Award” for the Southern California Section.
National honors from the Golf Range Association of America recognizing the Top 50 Growth of the Game Teaching Professionals went to five Golf Channel Academy coaches:

The Golf Channel Academy at Cog Hill Golf & Country Club also made the Top 50 list of best teaching facilities. GRAA awards were announced in the recent edition of Golf Range Magazine.
The Golf Channel Academy coaches honored by the PGA of America and GRAA are among the game’s most influential and recognizable teachers.
