SOUTH AFRICA – Swingclick, the “no-brainer” swing trainer that assists golfers with their timing, tempo and transition, has been recognized as a Top 3 Finalist for the 23rd Annual ING Industry Honors awards. Winners in a dozen categories will be announced at the Industry Honors Presentation Press Conference January 28, 2016 at 12:30 at the PGA Merchandise Show in ClubING, Room 309 A/B.

Referred to by many as the “Academy Awards” of the golf industry, the ING Industry Honors is conducted by the non-profit International Network of Golf to recognize outstanding achievement in the golf business. Swingclick is a Top 3 Finalist in two Industry Honors categories: Product Ingenuity and Digital Marketing.

Swingclick is a simple, effective and affordable training device that straps to a golfer’s forearm just below the elbow. The device makes three clicking sounds: at the top of the backswing, at impact, and on the follow-through. Swingclick’s auditory cues help a golfer practice the feeling of a smooth takeaway followed by a smooth transition. This creates the timing for a great golf swing and engrains the consistency and control that leads to hitting more fairways and greens and lower scores.

“As a startup company from South Africa, we are extremely excited to be nominated for two Industry Honors awards, said Mike Quinn, Managing Director for Swingclick. “Swingclick trains the brain and the body the three key elements that Tour pros know are the foundation of a great golf swing: rhythm, tempo and transition. Golfers have embraced Swingclick because it’s simple and it works.”

Golf Digest Top 50 Teacher in America and Golf Magazine Top 100 Teacher, Gary Gilchrist, uses Swingclick to train his top junior players at the Gary Gilchrist Academy at Mission Inn Golf Resort outside Orlando, Fla.

“The Swingclick is potentially the best swing aid that’s ever been made,” Gilchrist said. “It provides the best practical feedback I’ve seen from a training device and more importantly, its one of the few devices that allows players to train using their own clubs.”

Swingclick was the No.1 Best Selling Golf Swing Aid on Amazon in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom and Germany in 2015. Swingclick will be exhibiting at the PGA Demo Day and PGA Merchandise Show, Booth 1792, January 26-29, in Orlando, Fla.
