(SALISBURY, England) – DST Golf – developer and manufacturer of ground breaking warm-up clubs that benefit players of all skill levels – invites members of the golf industry to discover its CR-10 line and to learn more about the popular DST Compressor clubs at demo day and booth #2021 during the 2016 PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando, FL.

In less than a year since its official launch, DST Golf has gained an international reputation as the manufacturer of the preferred training club on the PGA Tour; the DST Compressor. With a scientifically-curved shaft, the club is designed to help players locate, train and perfect the Optimal Impact Position where the hands lead the club through impact, ensuring the player maintains control over the clubface until after the ball has been struck.

The CR-10 line, offered in wedge and 8-iron models, incorporates the Hand Position Alignment Marker of the Compressor but with a straight shaft. The CR-10 is designed to allow for a natural progression from using the Compressor to playing with regular clubs while maintaining the notion of the correct way to compress the ball at impact. DST’s patent pending Hand Position Alignment Marker technology has recently been approved for use in conforming clubs by the R&A.

“Once you’ve developed the feeling of a delayed strike with the Compressor, the CR-10 helps with the transition to your own equipment,” says DST Golf Founder and CEO Bertie Cordle. “The CR-10 allows you to experience the sensation of using a regular club while still benefiting from DST technology that guides you into the correct setup and impact position for each swing.”

In essence, the DST Compressor and CR-10 clubs simplify the swing by stripping out complicated and unnecessary movements. This is achieved by automatically pre-setting the hands in the optimal impact position, which is identical for all normal shots (chip, pitch and full swing). With its scientifically-curved shaft engineered to replicate the shape of a normal shaft under maximum load at impact, players of all abilities can locate, train and perfect the optimal impact position. The unique design also allows players to learn how to control the club face through impact in order to compress the ball in the correct way.

Developed by a former European Challenge Tour player after years of research on the biomechanics of impact, the DST Compressor teaches the golfer two things: how to swing the club on plane and how to maintain tension in the shaft until after impact. These are the two critical aspects to achieve better ball striking, control, consistency and accuracy.
