Low compression model offers maximum distance and soft feel
(BUFFALO, NY) OnCore Golf – developers of the first USGA approved hollow core golf ball – announces they will unveil the new Avant golf ball model at the 2016 PGA Merchandise Show taking place in Orlando, FL.
Demonstrating their commitment to being true “innovators from core to cover,” OnCore Golf is pleased to introduce the first of two new balls slated for release in 2016. Responding to increased interest in low compression balls, OnCore’s technology and product development team – led by former Vice President of Research and Development of TaylorMade, John Calabria- designed the AvantTM for the golfer who wants to play a softer ball without losing distance.

The Avant has a unique polymer blend for the core composition resulting in a high coefficient of restitution that delivers exceptional velocity and distance. The Avant incorporates OnCore’s unique SoftCell technology to deliver a 65 compression value – generating feel as well as optimal distance.
