First Ever PGA Tour Player – Ball Marker Endorsement Deal

January 1, 2016 (Milford, DE) – Sniper Putters, a relatively small golf equipment company that burst on the scene a few years ago with a line of flatsticks with names such as Rebel, Engage and Ambush, is once again making history with the signing of PGA Tour player Steve Wheatcroft as brand ambassador for Sniper Putters national charity program called “Make Your Mark” with the objective to raise funds for military charities.

” ‘Make Your Mark’ is a personal effort to honor and give back to our military heroes, with a special focus on the families of our fallen soldiers,” said Dan Roland, CEO of Sniper Putters. “I created a special ball marker and presentation card with a mission to exceed one million markers sold and then raise the bar to achieving the sale of perhaps 10 million markers to be able to provide funds to the families of men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.”

Steve Wheatcroft will be playing a full schedule on the PGA Tour and will carry the marker in every round of golf. “I am excited to partner with Sniper Putters to endorse their Sniper ball marker and raise money for some great military charities,” said Wheatley as he makes the announcement via his twitter account; Steve Wheatcroft @wheatiePGA. He will be carrying the ball marker with him from practice rounds to Pro-Ams and in tournament play.

The “Make Your Mark” medallion has proven to be more than a ball marker used on the greens. It is a reminder of the brave men and women who put their lives on the line each and every day serving our country. And you don’t have to be a golfer to support this cause. Markers are being purchased for use on and off the course with the average consumer ordering them in quantity and passing them on. The markers are carried in pockets as reminders, they are displayed on office desks with the presentation cards and they are reaching across the U.S.A., all in support of the many charities each consumer can designate the funds for their purchase.

Roland says, “I carry a marker in my golf bag and I always have one on my person. It is a great opportunity for everyone in the industry or just a proud American to give back. The commemorative medallion ball markers cost $9.95 for the quarter size or $12.95 for the half-dollar size. Half of the proceeds from the marker sales will go directly to military related charities, such as the Chris Kyle Frog Foundation, Wounded Warriors, Folds of Honor or a registered military charity of one’s choosing.
