Multi-family development expansion to include additional 156 units, clubhouse and pool
(BRYAN, Texas) – Traditions – the private golf club and residential community neighboring Texas A&M University and the burgeoning ATLAS development – introduces the next phase of the Hawthorne at Traditions (Hawthorne), a premier multi-family development in the Brazos Valley.
Hawthorne will add 156 units to its existing 240 residences featuring one-, two- and three-bedroom floorplans. Upgraded interiors will be highlighted by modern kitchens with stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, washer and dryer sets, oversized garden tubs, spacious closets and other amenities.
Additionally, a resort-style pool and multi-purpose clubhouse mirroring Hawthorne’s style and architecture will be built to provide residents with myriad recreational opportunities. Phase II construction will begin later this month, with a completion date scheduled for spring 2017.
Surrounding Hawthorne will be ATLAS – a 200-acre community created for companies engaged in the health and wellness fields that will offer an array lifestyle, employment and outdoor opportunities. With nearly 200,000-square-feet of retail, office and restaurant space connected by a pedestrian-friendly network of paths and trails, ATLAS will offer professionals and families a respite from the student-oriented retail, restaurant and housing that dominates the Bryan / College Station area.
The focal point of ATLAS will be the Stella Hotel, a full-service, 177-key property that will feature a restaurant / bar, extensive meeting space, wellness spa, grand ballroom with outdoor function lawn and rooftop outdoor living room. Completion of The Stella Hotel is set for the spring 2017.
“Hawthorne is growing faster than we anticipated and we are at capacity,” says Doak Brown, Co-Principal, The Brownstone Group and Co-Developer of the Hawthorne at Traditions. “The next phase of this premier multifamily community will target professionals from the area’s growing employment base and graduate students at the Texas A&M University Health Science Center.”
Hawthorne is part of a wide variety of high-end residential product in Traditions, including the now-under construction Parc at Traditions senior living community, Game Day Cottages, single family homes, condominiums, villas and casitas.
Nearly 400 lots are developed in Traditions Club. More than 80 new single family homes have been constructed, while 21 casitas and Game Day Cottages have been constructed and sold, and nearly 40 Hidden Bridge condos have been built and sold.
