Grand-prize winners from the east, central and west regions booked the most online rounds in 2015; Trips to the Irish Open, The Players, and Arnold Palmer Invitational

ORLANDO, Fla. (Feb. 1, 2016) – As numbered golf balls were plucked from a range basket inside the GolfNow (www.GolfNowSolutions.com) booth at the 2016 PGA Merchandise Show, three winning course operators from GolfNow’s “Rounds Up” promotion anxiously waited to find out which of three famous golf destinations they would be visiting next.

With the lucky #1 ball, Dean Brikshavana from Indian Boundary Golf Course in Chicago, Ill., chose an all-expenses-paid trip for two to the Arnold Palmer Invitational presented by MasterCard, March 14-20, in Orlando, Fla.

Joe Dahlstrom from San Juan Hills Golf Club in San Juan Capistrano, Calif., chose second, and he and a guest will be attending the 2016 Dubai Duty Free Irish Open at the famous K Club in County Kildare, Ireland, May 19-22. And Lawrence Turco from The Architects Golf Club in Lopatcong, N.J., will bring a friend to the 2016 PLAYERS Championship, played May 12-15 at famous Stadium Course at TPC Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra, Fla. – and home of the PGA TOUR.

“The Rounds Up promotion was a great way for us to connect and collaborate with our golf course partners to help drive more rounds for their courses,” said Jeff Foster, senior vice president, GolfNow. “As we congratulate our winners, we also recognize all of the courses that participated in making 2015 a record year in online rounds.”

The GolfNow “Rounds Up” promotion launched in January 2015 and challenged golf courses from three, select U.S. regions – Central, West and East – to book as many online rounds via the GolfNow platform as possible during the year. Monthly winners were treated to a pizza party for their staff, and the courses with the largest annual tally from each region chosen as grand-prize winners and earning the chance to participate in a random drawing for one of three, all-expense-paid trips for two.
