Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. – Dawn Hudson, Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer of the National Football League will be the Saturday Night Gala keynote speaker on April 23 during the EWGA 25th Anniversary Celebration and Golf Experience in Colonial Williamsburg, VA. Founded in 1991 as the Executive Women’s Golf Association, EWGA is the largest women-focused national amateur golf association in the United States with chapters located in more than 100 cities as well as international chapters in Bermuda, Canada and Italy.
The highest ranking woman in professional football, responsible for building the fan base of the NFL and growing the NFL brand, Hudson joined the league in September 2014. In November 2015, she topped the Adweek 50 List of Vital Leaders in Tech, Media and Marketing recognized for “managing to keep the league humming along despite some very high-profile challenges”. Recently, she was named to Forbes Most Powerful Women in Sports and previously has been among Fortune’s Most Powerful Women.
Prior to the NFL, Hudson was Vice-Chairman of the Parthenon Group, a global boutique consulting firm. Prior to Parthenon, she spent 11 years at PepsiCo. She was the Global CMO of Frito-Lay, then CMO of Pepsi-Cola North America, then became President and the CEO of Pepsi-Cola North America. While running the 5.5 billion dollar division, she also ran the consolidated food service U.S. operations of PepsiCo.
Hudson has extensive governance experience as she has served on the boards of Lowes Home Improvement stores, Allergan, PF Chang’s, and the Ladies Professional Golf Association, where she served as Chairman of the Board for two years.
