Top 50 course rankings drive visitors to ratings and reviews website

ORLANDO, Fla. (Feb. 8, 2016) – Momentum for Golf’s leading course ratings and review website by golfers, for golfers – www.GolfAdvisor.com – is stronger than ever, highlighted by a record-breaking start to 2016, which garnered more than 100 percent year-over-year increases for all key user metrics in January.

Riding the exciting announcement of its latest “Best of” list – the “Top 50 U.S. Courses in 2015” – Golf Advisor’s January traffic set records across the board, with page views (740,000) up 117 percent year over year; unique visitors (255,000) up 112 percent; and visits (326,000) up 115 percent.

Editorial surrounding the Top 50 list was visited most often in January, with the No. 1-ranked golf course on the list – California’s Yocha Dehe Golf Club – as the top-viewed course. Golf Advisor determined the Top 50 list from more than 121,000 reviews from more than 75,000 golfers who took the time to share their golfing experiences in 2015. “Best of” lists on Golf Advisor are unique in the industry because they reflect the opinions of avid golfers for the benefit of other golfers.
