“We introduced HZRDUS at the 2015 FedEx St. Jude Classic, and its growth on tour since then has been incredible,” Don Brown, director of golf innovation for Project X said. “Taking the number one position among wood shaft models really validates the adoption we have seen among tour players and is a nice follow up to a HZRDUS win just a few weeks ago at the CareerBuilder Challenge.”
HZRDUS is designed to deliver distance to the stronger, more aggressive golfer, without sacrificing control.
“HZRDUS addresses a need we identified among today’s stronger professional and amateur golfers with fast tempos and high club head speeds,” Brown said. “In HZRDUS, we increased the full length stiffness profile to maintain low spin at higher club head speeds and a geometry that remains stable even during aggressive swings.”
