MEMPHIS, Tenn. (February 22, 2016) – Project X HZRDUS Hand Crafted shafts were the number one wood shaft model at the Northern Trust Open, according to The Darrell Survey. This is the second PGA TOUR event in a row where the new shaft was number one.
“We designed HZRDUS specifically for the stronger swingers on the TOUR and at the amateur level,” Don Brown, director of golf innovation for Project X said. “Being the number one wood shaft model for two weeks in a row is validation that HZRDUS performs for this player profile by delivering distance without sacrificing control.”
The Project X R&D team increased the full length stiffness profile of HZRDUS shafts to maintain low spin at higher club head speeds and a geometry that remains stable even during aggressive swings.
