Company provides ongoing support for research-based activities of GCSAA
Lawrence, Kan. (Feb. 23, 2016) – Jacobsen has made a $5,000 donation to the Environmental Institute for Golf (EIFG), the philanthropic organization of the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America (GCSAA). The gift was officially made to the EIFG at the 2016 Golf Industry Show in San Diego.
With the donation, Jacobsen becomes a member in the EIFG’s Platinum Tee Club for donors who contribute $5,000 or more annually. It is also recognized at the Champion’s Club level of the EIFG’s Cumulative Giving Program, recognizing donors who have contributed between $250,000 – $499,999 since 1987. Jacobsen is also part of GCSAA’s Partner Recognition Program as a Silver Partner. Silver Partner’s invest resources at the $100,000 level.
