DSS CourseTrends Unveils New Products At The PGA And GIS Golf Industry Shows

March 7, 2016

Austin, TX – Distinct Software Solutions (DSS) unveiled several innovative products at the recent PGA Show in Orlando, and the company is proud to report that the industry responded with great excitement. The reaction was equally as exciting at the Golf Industry Show on February 10 and 11th in San Diego. These new products were offered through Distinct Software Solutions’ industry-leading golf course marketing brand, CourseTrends.

The new tools generated a lot of buzz at both shows as CourseTrends demonstrated technology that is changing the way golf is marketed online. One of these exciting products was CT-IMS, or CourseTrends Internet Marketing System, which includes new features to boost marketing efficiency at courses across the country. The courses were most excited about the user dashboard which aggregates all marketing and channel data into a single location for easy measurement of campaign effectiveness. In addition, the platform includes a multi-course dashboard allowing companies with more than one property the ability to see live feedback on individual course performance and also manage each course’s marketing functions through a single login.

The company also debuted an enahnced mobile app with on-course GPS, push notifications, fast book-a-tee-time functionality, a drive measurement feature, a button to order beer at any spot on the course, customer review technology, and more.

“We were proud to show our existing and potential customers the next evolution in online golf marketing,” said Scot Forbis, PGA, Senior Vice President of Marketing with Distinct Software Solutions. “We thought the response would be positive, but we were quite pleased when the excitement we heard from the industry exceed our expectations. I’ve been attending the PGA Show for more than two decades and rarely has any product created this much buzz.”

Finally, the company unveiled its new DIME tech, which collects precise info about customer buying habits in order to enable courses to send email marketing specifically designed for the recipients. Does a player like to book Wednesday morning tee times during the last week of each month? DIME knows and targets individual clients with offers based on their preferences, ensuring that courses can both satisfy their customers and fill the slow spots on the tee sheet.

CourseTrends is the leading online provider of golf marketing solutions, currently working with more than 3,500 clients throughout North America. CourseTrends’ online marketing solutions are the golf industry’s most effective way to market on social media as well as other internet platforms.
