Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. – The EWGA announces eBob Apparel™ as their newest Member Benefit Provider. Founded in 1991 as the Executive Women’s Golf Association, EWGA is the largest women-focused national amateur golf association in the United States with Chapters located in more than 100 cities as well as international Chapters in Bermuda, Canada and Italy.
Ryan Voois may be just 12 years old, but don’t let his age fool you. Ryan is an accomplished junior tournament golfer, a member of The First Tee of Orange County (California), and the founder of eBob Apparel, a company specializing in colorful, stylish golf hats, visors and belts. Ryan started eBob to help his customers (whom he affectionately calls “eBobbers”) look great on the golf course, and is bringing his flair for fashion to EWGA with an exclusive line of EWGA-logoed ladies’ golf hats and visors. In addition, eBob will share its profits from these products with The EWGA Foundation, the charitable arm of the EWGA, which is dedicated to developing and funding education and leadership programs for women of all ages.
” We welcome eBob as our latest Member Benefit Provider and appreciate both the fun, stylish look of Ryan’s headwear and the philanthropic nature of our partnership,” says Ashley Nelson, EWGA Director of Business Development. ” His company’s support for the EWGA Foundation will contribute to our on-going efforts to give back and pay it forward through the game of golf.”
Ryan learned to play golf at a very early age from his mom Jessica Smith, a 13-year EWGA member currently with the Orange County. CA Chapter. As Ryan got older he developed a love for wearing colorful golf outfits (a trend that is all the rage on the junior tournament circuit). So he started eBob with the vision that the hat is the center of an attractive golf ensemble. Ryan’s simple and affordable formula for an “eBobber” outfit: start with a stylish, colorful eBob hat, add a solid color shirt and optionally a belt (which eBob also sells) with complementary colors, and voila – the outfit is complete. eBob’s EWGA hats and visors are color coordinated (stitching, eyelets, etc) with the EWGA logo and feature breathable tech fabric, adjustable sizing, colored sweatbands that don’t show sweat or makeup stains, and in some cases, a colored under-visor that casts an attractive glow on the wearer’s face. eBob also has created matching hats and visors with the same accent color so whether you wear a hat or visors, your team can be coordinated.
With their strong connection to EWGA, Ryan and his mom reached out to EWGA to become a sponsor to connect with avid female golfers across the U.S. As a national partner, eBob will be able to market its hats and visors in EWGA e-communications and at on-site events throughout the year. The relationship with EWGA allows eBob to significantly broaden its market reach while building its brand awareness.
“I started eBob selling colorful, coordinated hats and belts because I like to wear lots of bright, matching outfits on the golf course,” said Ryan. “eBob believes the hat is the key to looking great on the course. And when you look great, you are confident, and when you are confident, you play better. We look forward to partnering with EWGA and The EWGA Foundation. As our motto says, ‘Express Your Colorful Self!’ ”
